WHAT IS POST-TENSIONING

Image
WHAT IS POST TENSIONG ADVANTAGES OF POST-TENSIONING  Increased Clear Spans Thinner Slabs Lighter Structures; Reduced Floor Dead Load Reduced Shrinkage Cracking And Deflections Reduced Storey Height Rapid Construction Large Reduction In Conventional Reinforcement Better Water Resistance. Its allow us to  build slabs on expansive or soft soils        These advantages can result in significant savings in overall costs. There are also some situations where the height of the building is limited, in which the reduced storey height has allowed additional storeys to be constructed within the building envelope.

Interlocking Bricks (Blocks)

Image
Interlocking Blocks Present scarcity of sand and increasing price of Cement, the cement mortar getting more expensive. The interlocking blocks are very much useful for present scenario. Also these blocks are compression pressing manufacture technology. Not like burnt bricks. These products are 100% eco-friendly.       These blocks are coming different types of material variety   Clay blocks Fly ash blocks   Laterite blocks Also production based on size 9”, 8”, 6” and 4.5” thickness. Construction   Compare to brick wall construction, stacking of these blocks very easy. As like the name interlock, these blocks are having male female connector. These joints make the blocks perfect inter lock.   Without mortar we can join the block with the help of interlocking.   If required we can apply the cement paste each layer of the stacking. Alignment, levelling and first layering of arrangement is more important. Labour requirement is

HOW TO CALCULATE THE BRICK WALL LOAD?

How To Calculate The Brick Wall Load? Sample Brick size – 0.23(9”) x 0.075 (3”) x 0.10 (4”) Volume of the one brick – 0.00172m 3 Weight of the brick – 2.5 – 3.5 kg/ brick Approx Volume of the brick with 20mm mortar – 0.25x 0.095 x 0.121 = 0.00287m 3 Number bricks with mortar for 1 m 3 brick wall – 1/0.00287 = 348.43nos with mortar / m 3 Volume of 20mm mortar – (0.23+0.23+0.075+0.075) x 0.10 x 0.020 (thick) = 0.00122m 3 Volume of mortar alone = 348nos x 0.00122 = 0.424m 3 Weight of brick = 348 x 3 = 1044kg/m 3 (Weight of mortar = 2000 kg /m 3 ) Weight of mortar = 0.424 x 2000 = 848kg/m 3 Weight of the brick + weight of the mortar = 1044+848 = 1892 kg /m 3 = 18.92KN/m 3 Say =19KN /m 3
